Fault Diagnosis (ICD-CTU)

This section describes faults largely divided into four types as follows:
  • Operation does not perform normally.
  • Impossible Communication
Operation does not perform normally.
Situation
Possible cause
Check/Treatment
After power is turned on, RDY LED in the system status LED remains off even after some time (approximately 1 minute).
The built-in web application is not starting.
(1) Reboot the power to this unit.
(2) If the RDY LED does not start blinking after Step (1) above, update the web application.
After power is turned on, ALM LED in the system status LED lights up after some time (approximately 1 minute).
The built-in web application has terminated abnormally.
(1) Reboot the power to this unit.
(2) If the RDY LED does not start blinking after Step (1) above, update the web application.
Impossible Communication

Communicate via Ethernet cannot be established.
(RDY LED in system status LED remains blinking)
The built-in web application is not connected to the connected IAI product.
(1) Access the web application from a PC, smartphone, etc., and establish the connection from the web application.
(2) Check the network settings of this unit and the connected device.
(3) Check the wiring between this unit and the connected device, then reboot the power to this unit.
Communicate via Ethernet cannot be established.
(Wireless device parameter setup tool cannot be connected.)
(1) Poor wiring or breakage of the communication cable.
(2) Incorrect network parameter settings
(1) Check the wiring between this unit and the connected device.
(2) Check the network settings of this unit and the connected device.
Connection of the wireless device parameter setup tool is not established via USB.
Poor wiring or breakage of the communication cable.
Review the wiring. Replace the cable if necessary.
